Well the detail that I can remember.... 1972 KE25,Corolla Coupe, 8 point roll cage, rack and pinion, 3sge motor, W58 gearbox, t series lsd diff. Also have a spare complete 1974 KE25, and many boxes of extras including guards, doors and bonnet. My car has been engineered and therefore has a modification plate. The following ADR codes are on it: LA2-Performance Engine installation 4/2000- 4 cylinder 2000cc LB1 – transmission tunnel LB2- Rear axle substitution LG2- Brake system conversion LK8- Roll bar and Roll cage installation LS4- front suspension and steering conversion LS6 Rear suspension conversion The modification certificate also notes the other things like placement of the EMC, firewall modifications, Levin flares etc. More detail again: Engine, axillaries and driveline 3sge 2 litre Gen II out of a MR2 Modified sump with trapdoors Modified and strengthened crossmember Custom inlet and exhaust manifolds and 2 ¼" exhaust Custom flywheel, h/duty clutch (hydraulic clutch setup) W58 supra gearbox (closest ratio W series box) Custom Hardi Spicer tailshaft T series Diff from a RA23 1 ½ way trd LSD. WOLF 3D computer and 4 coil setup Surge tank and vl commodore high pressure fuel pump Suspension and Steering Custom rack and pinion, (no bump steer at all, much better than street cars and quick steering) Used AE86 bits and improved on these. Coil overs with King Springs (250lb) Hilux 4 pot callipers, xt130 struts, Peugeot vented disc setup Revalved Konis to suit application in the front, Koni reds at the back Adjustable 22mm swaybar Noltec adjustable strut tops Triangle strut brace re-enforced to firewall SuperPro bushes throughout 40mm Roll Centre Adjusters (RCA's) Reset leaf springs at the back with welded clamp and extra leaf Custom adjustable Panhard rod based on Celica one Superlite Mags 14x6 (114.3mmPCD) with RE001 tyres (185x60x14) Other bits and pieces Mazda RX7 series V seats Davis Craig Thermo fan on 3 core radiator and custom bleeder tank Speedo reduction box (in case you change diff ratio, just change some plastic cogs) High quality sound deadening foam with aluminium layer Battery in boot New Knox moulded carpets and other automotive carpet Reupholstered dash to fit around cage. In car tool box with all tools to suit the car including spare radiator hoses, fittings etc 2 Pac paint All new door/window rubbers etc Spares A complete spare KE25 PLUS the following: Nearly another complete set of windows and numerous excellent panels, doors, guards, bonnet, boxes of lights, garnishes, instrument clusters, speedos, radios, bucket of badges, swaybars, etc AE86 rack and pinion, Steering wheels (including spare sports wheel) 3sg block and head Good skyline callipers and rotors for the rear Remote booster, fuel tank, radiator, boss kit. If you saw the car, you would know I didn't take short cuts in this build. Did all the things properly during the build process. I've used all good quality items when building it (eg shockies, steering parts, diff bearings etc). Car has been seam welded, and with the cage and strut brace on top of that, it is extremely rigid. As I did my homework things such as inlet and exhaust design and steering geometry, the car is an absolute pleasure to drive. The steering is well weighted with excellent feedback, and the motor is very responsive and has a broad torque band. Currently running 2 degrees negative camber, 4.5 degrees castor. Car would easily change to turbo 3sgte motor, but in my opinion this light car is just fine with the strong NA 2 litre. Happy to show the list of costs to anyone who comes round to look at the car. Full Comprehensive Insurance on this car for me is $350 a year and that's with all the modifications. I'm sure there are many things I've forgotten about the build. If you want to know more info about it or have questions, PM me or phone me on the above mobile(wife's). The link below is probably the best way to get a bit of history to the car's build. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...mp;hl=3sge+KE25 Please note the interior and under bonnet is much tidier than in this thread, as it has (new) molded carpet, better steering wheel/inlet etc. Many of the pics in this thread were taken during 'work in progress.' Please bear in mind these photos below don't do it justice. They were taken when the car was dirty, while doing a big drive with my brother. The link directly above will show some more pics too. Haven't actually taken pics of the car just after a clean. Regards, Rob. J. Some pics of the motor I took today. Cleaned the outside of the car, but the inside is still dusty eg you can see marks on the roll cage. (They rub off).
I have all the trims, such as the door pinches, plastic cover over the heater, aluminium foot scuffs (over door entrance) etc etc. This post has been edited by robj: May 27 2010, 03:55 PM -------------------- Daily drive: KE25 with 3sge, W58, t series trd lsd, rack and pinion, coilovers, etc.

The new carpet is just sitting in there, letting it settle. Is easy for potential buyers to see what's underneath too. The shiny stuff under the carpet is quality sound deadener.

Thanks toyocharged. Yeah, all done properly. Couldn't build half this car for the price. I've had invites to swap my KE25 for big cars eg Supras and Celsior. I'm after a smaller car thanks. Rob.
