  1. Hey fellas, sussed it out today. All Wiring and stem fine. Decided to strip the motor and found that one of the brushes wasn't springing towards the rotor because the little brass slide was slightly crushed. Sorted that out and set load on gear and all sweet. Cheers for all your help!!

  2. Alright. So I've just done some more tests. I'm confident the fuse is fine as indicator lights etc work, I also swapped it out with another fuse and no change. I then checked voltage at wiper stalk and found 12v at switch ok. I then checked voltage in engine bay and I'm only getting 1.5v at the most. Earth is clean and tight.??????

  3. Hey fellas, my wipers have just stopped working. We're working fine and then stopped. I can't hear the motor even trying. Not sure where the fuse is. I have the visible fuses right under the steering wheel and then the ones behind the drivers side kick panel. Which one is the wipers?

  4. Hi fellas, I'm trying to improve the safety in the beast but to do that I'll need to replace my heavily worn Seatbelts. The fronts are retractable but are heavily frayed and twisted and the rears have all perished. Just wondering what options are out there for replacements. I've seen the generic ones on eBay and wonder if anybody's had any luck with them. Cheers

  5. yeah mate, new thrust bearing was installed when i installed the clutch. I'm having to put my clutch pedal on a huge up angle to get full release off the master cylinder .It shifts fine and doesn't slip but that noise is a tad annoying. Could it also be the angle of the whole trans/engine setup not letting oil up to the front of the box??

  6. Hey fellas, i have finally got my ke55sr near complete but running. I took it for a drive and drives well but there is a constant whirring sound when i am idling with the clutch disengaged. I have removed the clutch rod from the pedal and noise is still there. When i depress the pedal the noise goes away. Not sure whether the thrust bearing is still touching the fingers or if it could be the gearbox input bearing. Anybody else had this issue?? Cheers

  8. Hi fellas, I have just purchased a new master cylinder which I have made an adapter plate to bolt it to the standard booster in my 79 ke55. The question I have is how do you remove the brake master pushrod so I can make up a longer one?? I pull it out as far as I can and it stops. Do I need to remove the seal at the front of the booster? Cheers for your help

  9. What year ke30 booster? As long as it's got the 2 parallel mc bolts and not the diagonals like the ke55 I should be right yeah? What's the difference in mounting to pedal or is all the same? Then I'll source a paj mc and all sweet. This is holding me up now. Nearly ready to fire up and take for a spin

  10. Hi guys, need a bit of knowledge about brake masters. I'm using the standard pb r brake booster and master but when installed the pressure switch sensor and bleed nipple hit the intake mani. I've been to abs and they've said that there are no aftermarket masters which will fit a standard booster. What are you guys using?? Is a ke30 booster/master narrower? Cheers, Jason
