  1. don't stress Jon, they are not very heavy... it wont hurt much.... :P :P I used to be a car detailer, many a time i've had a tap on the head by bonnet's or tailgate's and i think the corolla is probably the lightest. :P I'm sure it wont knock you out cold... But you WILL get a headache for sure :P :D :P
  2. ---does anyone know wher i can get the piping that goes between the flares and the body though ?????--- Try an Auto Rubber Shop Or Clark Rubber? I know i was surprised at the range of car rubbers that they stock.
  3. Got to love the KE26's. :P They just have an old school look (Drive-in days) and so functional. I just wish they weren't so frigg'n rare. :P That's a Swweeeettt daily. I bet you're proud Scott, of course :D u would be...
  4. Yeah mate, i took my passenger seat out a couple of weeks after the AFD Cruise and haven't put it back yet. Probably won't until it's off the road for resto. The cops :P have quized me about it a few times, i just say 'do i have a passenger in the car? NO... so why do i need the seat :P ' They usually shake their head and walk away. It saves my trim getting damaged, that's my Main concern.
  5. Hey Jon, nice wagon mate :P I definately agree with your idea of picking up parts in it. It's gotta be easier than trying to put stuff in front seat of a 2dr :P I Know because i need a wagon too :P I have already torn my trim a couple of times in my 20 trying to use my passenger seat as cargo area :P Looking forward to seeing it on the road soon :D
  6. And big wheels with little brakes. Mateeeee, shits me seeing a car wearing 18" mags and still using standard sized brakes Yes... ;) they think more rubber on the road = much safer.... :P :P Actually they would be much better off, not wasting thousands on their v6 bommodore, :P and buying a Rolla with that cash... :P It'll look better, be more reliable and probably go just as fast...
  7. Hey Des, you need a job like mine.. I love my job. :y: I get paid to pull cars apart & it's acceptable if i smash shit that gets in my way. What great Therapy.... :D and i go home happy, knowing that each day i have personally destroyed at least one Commodore or Falcon. Mmmmm i believe that is what's meant by the term ""Job Satisfaction"" :P
  8. Very understandable, i know if many blind idiots tried to kill me on the road, I would definately make them realise the are F*#wits! :D I don't think violence would be MY best option, i'm only a little bloke, but i still wouldn't let it go unnoticed. :P Good luck with your recovery mate.
  9. thanks for backup Guys :D (Matt, Jon, Jae and Des...) :P
  10. F#*#*n oath Jon. :y: You really care a lot more when you work hard, and get your hands dirty, to have a car on the road. You always think of the money YOU will lose if you crash the f"""n thing. I know i heard my wallet screaming at me on that roundabout near Cleveland Pt :D (April Fool's Cruise) :P
  11. I agree Rob & i rarely run from the muddy bigfoot types(60series',GQ's,old Hilux's). :P It's more commonly the 5 ft ex 121 drivers who are to blame... I rarely see their Prado's, 100 series', ML Merc's etc... covered in the fun stuff..... They don't want to ruin their 20" Bling chromies :D
  12. thanks Guys, had a good night. Few good laughs, thanks Jon (JIP01). :P Was great to meet a few more members and see some ke70's... So... about the clubs future?? :D
  13. Awesome!!! I'm not the only one that likes teaching those idiots by blocking their drivers door. :) And JIP, I've found that it's a lot safer to just turn down the first side street when i see a 4X4 approaching, from ANY direction. They're are in their OWN little frigg'n world up there. ;)
  14. I agree.. That orange one is tough. I think i go to bank tomorrow
  15. Hi mate, if you can organise some, i would like to put my name down. :) I don't have any but i have plenty of Rolla's to show of our club. ;)
  16. I've got a number of them actually. I'll send u a PM.
  17. Yeah i can get a Corolla strut brace for him, but i don't know where i will find a Co'role'a
  18. Bloody hell, i see i missed a fantastic day. Oh well, they better re-open the track :P So we can all have more great days there. :hmm: :y: :P :P
  19. Wheels and tyres: right now 12x5.5 (i think) Globe rims, going on in a week are original black steelies with original hubbies and 155 whitewalls. Thanks, Ben. Hi mate, are you going to sell the Globes? :hmm: If so, i would like to put my hand up for first bid! Cheers
  20. Yeah mate, i am a patient man. The good cars are only remnants by the time they turn up at work. Ah well, i'll just sell the engine. I don't have any space for it in my sheds. They are full of rolla's remember, oh, and AE82 engines.
  21. Cool, another cruise. We need them often. COUNT ME IN. :y: I'll bring my 20 :hmm:
  22. You know i just want to blow wind up the late model FWD hyundais, pulsars and the odd bommodore.
