Hi fellow members, Have a look in Unique Cars 2003 - Spring Edition and you'll see Maxi, my car!! A friend of mine was looking through the mags at the local news agent and said to me "Hey Tom that looks like your car!" I nearly fell over when I saw the photo I took of my car in Malaney early this year. And if you don't believe its mine... check out my website My Webpagebecause thats where Unique Cars had taken the picture from. After all the shock, I was a bit disapointed that Unique Cars didn't ask me if they could use it, but on the other hand who can say their car is featured in a magazine. If it was mine, I would put in a 2jzgte with a T88 turbo with external wastegate, cut out all the wheel arches and put in nicely flowing wide gaurds housing 19x10" mags ... full roll cage with 2 bucket seats ... put in a different dash board from a later model car such as a FTO :) and paint it bmw m3 metalic blue with a purple pearl ... And for the last thing I'll do... would be this ------> :P to cops & nissan drivers... actually everyone.. besides the Jun Supra

That sucks big time, do you have another car you can get around in? I think I've been driving to tired or excited... I've hit one to many curbs and now when i do 100km/h the car is very shackie.. :P ohwell.... got to get to work somehow.. |blink| The turbo of the 3ETE is larger but doesn't flow as good as the CT9 - how so I don't know... but its a good back up to have...untill someone buys the engine/gearbox with GT radiator and 3e intercooler..for 500 bucks. Do you know where to score good cheap suspension parts / car parts? Take it easy Tom :)

Happy Birthday to me ... YAY 22 years of life :) Now I have a boost gauge ... finally... and the engine mount installed so no more harsh rubbing sounds... now to fix the funny idle and over fueling.... and suspension... and body... and body kit... and turbo.. and manifold... and computer... and fuel delvery...and and and... I've been thinking .... 4EFTE is suppose to do 0-100 km/h in 7sec and 1/4 mile in 15's, thats pretty quick and my car is no way near that at the moment well it feels its far off. I found a major problem with the intercooler piping when boosting it blows off the clips in 2 places, so some double clipping needs to be done.... but I won't bother to much and keep saving for the FMIC. Suspension at the rear is still an issue, the rear of the car sorta jumps around at speed making the tyer tread bumpy, something needs to be done :) I've been window shopping lately, found a EVO VI cooler & S15 T28 ball bearing Turbo which I'm now putting money away for. I finally found a engine mount and to all the idiots who said no other car shares the same parts as mine... YOUR FOOLS!! EP71 is a baby version of mine so neh! Still using to much oil, over fueling and back firing.... idle is a bit shifty to. hmmm Tom :P

Update. I've giving away all the comps + parts to chairty .... they are extremely greatful and happy. Oh well... 1000.00 loss... :P My car is burning more oil and still keeps over fueling ... problem wasn't fixed when I took it back to STZ they said I might wanna put a catch can on so it wouldn't burn so much oil... I was thinking why is it burning so much oil in the 1st place... if your asking how much??? how about a 1ltr a week. I'm still struggling with the car... so I need some money and I'm going to sell my dream of having a turboed paseo / rolla and sell my 3ETE engine which I'm throwing in a 5sp box + 4EFTE radiator and intercooler for 500 bucks. We have stuff that needs to go to a New home... so yeh get in there and pick up a bargin I have comps & comp parts for sale... plus an engine which I'm throwing in a gearbox and radiator for no extra charge.. Grim is selling a K50 gearbox! and Irkoin is trying to find a modem ... Spread the word... ask your mates (or listen to them) and see if they need any thing we have .. Get a loan from mum... or sell your undies on some crazie jap school girl site to get some dosh.. Come-on guys & girls!!!! Tom :P

I should Maxi there next year.... Hopefully with working 4EFTE (or 6EFTE), suspension redone, whole respray, interior fixed and tricked up, and some other lil oddies to make him stand out ... I'm back from the depths of my inbox at work and here for 1 to 2 days ... finally.. I called up the guys who put the engine in and told em about it... they wanna see it now.. thing is I work every day 6:30am till 6pm... so I have no time to take it there... unless I beg to my boss :rolleyes: I hope everyones luck isn't going down... :) I got the shits yesterday (some personal crap made me go co-co loko C R A Z Y ) and poor lil maxi was making clouds of smoke in traffic... well see.... I ran out of money... when it came to front mount intercooler.. so the top mount has lived under the bonnet getting no flow.. I hope they don't' try to use that to get out of it...ACCC will be advised if warrenty is not hounered Tom.

I pulled out in front of a car.. and floored it.. and blue smoke was coming out of exhaust!!! Turbo seals are gone... I checked the oil amount.... and it was on empty! F*%K now what!!! :D Maxi account monies: $150.00 :D *Tom looks to the heavens* WHY ME!!!!!!! Tom :ph34r:

Toyota Day 8th June -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This year marks the sixth anniversary of the Brisbane ATD. It has progressively increased in size and attendance over the last few years with just on 100 cars on display at the Queensland Toyota Head Office grounds last year. Organiser Alan Taylor (RSCRA President) can advise people of the details. He can be contacted on: 07 326 75708 AH. There is no entry fee or event cost, only your fuel and accommodation to get there. The show kicks off at about 9am on Sunday the 8th of June (Queens Birthday long weekend) and continues through to about 12.30pm, although that may be extended this year (NB: Info supplied from fellow Toyota message board.) Its a water cooled Turbo (2 pipes) If it was the turbo wouldn't it be blue smoke? when oil burns it burns it makes blue smoke.... black smoke is when fuel burns... Tommi :ph34r:

Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening / night... I am Tom...When I'm not working for the government I'm hanging out with my long time girl friend of over 3 years... I'm sleeping dreaming about modifying my 1987 grey import Toyota Corolla II GP Turbo ... I've completed a few little mods so far... like new engine etc etc.. My GP Turbo is my first car, I love it ... when I get in to go for a drive it puts a smile on my face... :) My car is in pretty bad shape but I'm doing my best to save up and fix HIM slowly... yes my car is a He.. his name is Turbous Maximus Boostamus... or for those who know and have got to love my car... Maxi for short. I'm interested in property investing and money management also building of residential properties. I have 13 year old short haired Tom cat..who is my best friend. B) Lately I have had no spare time with my new position at work....which means my In Tray has taken over my desk and I see more of my office then my home :) In my spare couple of minutes I have per week for my car ... I spend it looking under the bonnet in total confusion :blink: wondering what is wrong with my car... :D one day I hope to find someone who can help me out with Maxi .... so when I think his sick I can take him to them and they can fix him. :rolleyes: ...besides that I treat my Maxi for a 3hr wash every 2nd week. :D I'm going to go sleep now...maybe dream about transplanting the top secret Supra's 3sgte into Maxi....hmmm blown CV's at the press of a pedal...
