Is that orange thing a Mclaren :-O ? Was gunna question how you got the missus in the garage working on cars. Been trying that for years.... no dice however :-( haha

I couldnt get my missus working on cars for the worlds supply of diamonds. My kid is 2 however so only a matter of time till hes corrupted enough to be a garage hand :-)

    Yes mate, Mclaren.

As for getting the wife in the garage, buy her a race car. Jill has 2 race cars so they are her babies. (our kids have grown up and moved on) so she has to put in. She loves the sport as much as I do. She does the catering for the team and cooks for the crew.

  2. Firstly, anybody know of someone that rebuilds old school Koni red / yellow strut inserts. I had mine rebuilt about 5 years ago but never installed. I have recently fitted them but one is not right. They are adjustable but adjusting does nothing. Toperformance said they are too old and they don't have parts for them any more.

Secondly. what are other people using if they need replacing?

  3. Not sure of the details but I was told about a KE20 conversion. He used I think KE Laser (Ford) rack and pump and just made up brackets. I am looking into it for my wife's new race car. She broke her neck in an accident about 6 years ago so has lost a lot of upper body strength. Her car runs a lot of caster and big wheels so I think she will struggle. If I come up with a package, I will post the results here.

  4. Not much progress with the 20 this week as I had to get my car ready for the Liqui Moly 240 at Sandown.

With that done and dusted, time to get back to the Corolla. Here are a few quick pics of how it is going. Still a long way to go but every step is a step closer.

That fitment is spot on. Good job!
Also, whats your review on the coilover kit?

Very happy with the T3 kit. Very easy to do and if you ever need to replace the strut, you just need another Perch and you can use the wrest.

    IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must stipulate the size of your strut casing when ordering because they come in different sizes.

  6. That looks badass, nice work.

quick question, are you using a quick steer knuckle (shorter steering arm)?

or is that just a roll centre adjuster.

No KE1069, standard length steering arms.
