  1. Can also get the banjo fitting off a telstar master cylinder .
  2. My two cents worth don't DRIVE IT ANY WHERE .more than likely the steering box shagged . Jack it up turn it from lock to lock try see where its binding. :P check oil in the steering box, just take top cover off have a look. No oil rooted ,get another one. rob
  3. Hi yes a lot of after market manifolds will not fit with stock manifolds, just how it is . Well if your going to spend a few dollars putting twin side draughts on it you might as well keep going and put extractors and two inch system on it. Even with extractors the inlet manifold may still be to thick to match up evenly in that case you have to weld some cut in half sping washers. On to your extactors so that when you tighten them up every think pulls in EVENLY. This is what i have done seems to work ok , as for removeing studs not sure why you do that. The studs just make it easer to locate the manifolds when mounting them up. cheers rob
  4. Springs 15cm from out side to out side , and 15mm thick.don't no what that is in your measure ments though . cheers rob
  5. Or yank tank dodgem car with out electricity :hmm:
  6. Ha according to what i have ,you mark the pinion shaft ,nut and flange with a centre punch before you undo them. Then do them back up to line up ,NO further.NO less. Specs ,pinion bearing preload ; new bearings with seal 1.7Nm-3.4Nm ;used bearings with seal 1.7Nm-2.8Nm NB if collapsible spacer is used for a second time a 0.76mm shim must be used This according to mr gregorys manual hope this helps rob
  7. Hi I would try a different speedo head in it out of a manual . Or can sometimes change the ratios on the back of the speedo its self. I havent looked at one so I'm not to sure if this can be done or not ,can on some though. I can't see cable being a problem unless it frayed or partly siezed.Make sure its a manual cable to not auto. rob
  8. Hi I thought all usa k serires corollas came with at least a 2t ,hence te corolla Yes the t50 will bolt up to 4age with change of bell houseing. 86 struts I'm not sure .The 78 79 chassis thing, can't see any difference in the ones i have. Check your manufacters plate in engine bay may give you some clue what it was built with eg engine ,trans, diff . cheers rob
  9. The t18 box also has the long rear extenstion housing as well which should fit ke70 . As far as shifter location ,bell houseing and clutch i m not sure. helpful ha
  10. Hey pete If your looking to upgrade most people go for the t series diff out of ta22 or ra celicas ,some early coronas . Cut and weld leaf spring mounts on bit of stuffing round but good cheap up grade.
  11. The steering arms are different, bolt spacings few mm out :P Can use vented disc on corona struts but have to space out calipers. Been covered a lot, google xt130 to ke55 brake converstion. Could give you the link but I'm to old and stupid to no how to :P cheers rob
  12. Well the extractors only replace exhaust manifold not the inlet manifold. Just unbolt the inlet manifold from the exhaust manifold ,bolt extactors and inlet manifold back on easy :P
  13. Holy sugar tell me it hit somethink hard side ways. :hmm:
  14. Ok then put a oil pressure gauge in to see if it is lacking in pressure. :hmm:
  15. don't no what sort of engine it is????? But if its a k engine with a few kms on it i would look at timing chain not bigends or mains. :hmm: Fairly common ,what makes you think its the bearings? Any way thats where i would be looking first. Do the tensioner as well . :y: Thats if it a k engine :hmm: rob
  16. Yes to k&n have them on a 55 no problems . pn 56-1270 45mm high,110mm width,180mm long. hope this helps rob.
  17. Well could you clamp the hose on to the tappet cover and put the pvc further up the hose :P yeah i no dodgee. Other than that stuffed if i no. rob
  18. Well ill have a crack at it.First the control arm is not standard judging by the redrilled link pin. May be corona or sigma {guess no 1} The steering arm [ from ball joint to tie rod end}is not ke or xt130,or ra40. :P Compared to what ive got here. My guess no 2 is that it could be sigma. [GUESS] :( Sorry not that helpful but I'm sure some one will be a long to put us straight. rob
  19. What red dwarf said is true. :( As they say cheap fast reliable PICK TWO ;)
  20. Ha had the same problem ,ended up binning it after painting it and makeing it look fast. ;) I would think the only way would be to try get a new one,as all the old second hand ones old brittle and rooted by now. rob
  21. I would think a 45 would be a bit over size for a 4k ,better off with 40 mm weber. Considering its off a 2litre :jamie: it would be way over jetted. I got a 40mm weber on my club car it screams can give you jetting and venturi sizes if needed. (if i can find them) You can also still buy the inlet manifolds new,try redline manifolds. :| Nearly same price as ebay over priced s*it rob
  22. I would drain gear box oil first may find all your problems at once :| Also check clutch fork is not split.Just my 2cents worth
  23. don't no about the rim problem what about going to the tyre shop check out the sunraisha {spelling} rims may find somethink. I was going to use the painters planks for ramps ,the big alloy ones and cut it in half. :y: Looking good though :S rob
  24. Try google seemore ,sell hand brake kits.don't no why you would want it road car? Rallyor drift or club car ,for sure do it :y: The master cyclinder you use is pbk p4872 which i think is off series 2 landrover clutch master cyclinder. Or something like that.make sure your brake cyclinders are good or new . Yes they are illeagal. rob,
  25. Looks like its coming a long well .What sort of tare weight do you reakon it will be?
