  2. u like the color? sweet! most people hate it. :sad: Its actually the stock rola color TOYOTA AJ "bright green". The mounts were really easy if u can weld... i just moved the stock mounts on the rola crossmember, changed the angles a bit and re-welded them. The g'box member was a just as easy, a bit of 25mm RHS is pretty much all u need. =) :wootjump: :thumbsup:
  3. thanks man! Yeh, it goes well with the stocko 120kw SR. The conversion was quite simple,there were a few probs as far as clearance goes, the tunnel fits great up to where the rola box used to end, but the sr box is much longer so the mid-tunnel has to be widened. This would be no worrys except this lands right on top of the front seat brace....bummer. cut and weld! other than that both crossmembers were real easy, :thumbsup: TURBO HERE I COME!

  7. yeh man. U would be suprised how many cars have the BTR78 diff. all falcons from ea up. all commos from VL up, R31 skylines/pintaras. U can use any of these gears, the lowest are the 4:11 from the pintara. Although alot of thses diffs only have the 25 spline or the 2 pin centre, u can still use their gears. :thumbsup:

S13 sr20, with custom alloy radiator (800x450), battery in boot, 3inch exhaust, Wolf 3D version 4, MSD type ignition, S13 5spd, bluebird tailshaft, EB falcon diff 28 spline LSD with pintara 4:11 gears. VT SS commodore front disks and callipers, camary wet leg strut tubes(shorter), with adj custom coil over, VN commodore master cyl, EB falcon rear disks. Custom alloy drop tank, with lift pump, surge tank, and volvo high pressure pump. Interior is white vynal fully reapholstered, with full speco gauges built in dash, TA22 front seats. Body mods are: removed fuel filler, removed rear quarter vent, removed side indiators, 77 model grill, 78 front pan, all chrome painted, custom exhaust tunnel under floor.......

I'm just waiting for my younger bro to get home. cos it turns out I'm pretty crap at computers. :thumbsup: should have took typing at school. damn it sob the pitures u will see are of the car being built, it is now finished and rego'd with 6 mods approvals. It took 3 yrs to build and is finally finished so i just have to tell someone cos I'm so damn excited!!!!!!!! =) sorry for rambling..

  12. i see. so the DOT actually has a set weight for each model of car... is this listed on the net, or should i see an engineer? i think ke30s are safe but i best be sure..

  16. jus thought id tell everyone there is a burnout comp, dyno, show, ect coming up on the 3rd 4th of september for any one in brissy area. it happens every year at kalbar (20min past willowbank). i will be entering my sr20 ke30 in all of the events on both days. 4 cylinders often get little support for this event so if any one wants to lend support or enter as well. that would be cool :y:
  17. on the engine conversion topic, i have an sr20 in my rolla and it hardly stands out in the crowd. lookin back, i wish i went for a nissan vg20dett v6..(300zx ish).... it would be completely legal, and the weight of the motor could be pushed back closer to the firewall. handleing! i don't know about the width though........ ;)
  18. nah sorry man. i wish. i get my computer tuned by a speed shop. i drive, he plays with the laptop. its only $50 an hour.......way cheeper than a lashing out a few grand for an anylizer.
  19. interesting...... i am not really looking to tune my car off the gauge, i use a exhaust gas anylizer to do that. i just want to watch how varying air temps and other uncontrollables affect my tune. my redline is 7500 so if the car were to run lean for any reason, over an amount of time, it could pop. ouch!
