I always like having a big battery in my cars. If you ever run into carby troubles you can easily flatten a small standard battery trying to start it, or if your alternator or wiring isn't fantastic then it can give you a bit of extra juice before you go flat. It's also handy for the times you build an engine and crank it without ignition to get oil through it. I measured up the battery tray and room available in my KE30, went down to Autobarn and looked at what they had on the shelf. I went from a standard MF43 battery (238Wx138Dx186H) with 360CCA to a SuperCharge MF52 (237Wx171Dx182H) with 650CCA. Fits perfectly with a new 7" battery clamp. I started a new page on the wiki for batteries: http://www.rollaclub..._Series/Battery (inb4 someone criticises me for adding 4.5kg of sprung weight to the front of my car)

I understand drum brake master cylinders have a "residual pressure valve" to keep say 10psi of pressure in the brake lines, as drum brakes require this to compensate for spring return tension. However, when you convert drums to discs, you need to remove this valve, or your new disc brakes stay on when you let go of the pedal. How does this work when you go the other way - putting a disc brake master cylinder on a drum brake car? I see Wilwood sell aftermarket residual pressure valves, is this the only way, or can you install a valve in the new master cylinder? JB1762 (15/16") bolts to KE30 booster. It comes from NE Pajero which had factory discs on the back. I'm also looking at Nissan master cylinders from S13 which had discs. JB1608 (7/8") also bolts to KE30, but comes from from NA Pajero has drums on the back, so no issue there I guess.

I've install a 100 amp alternator out of a Nissan patrol gu. With the only modifications need to be done it remove the clutch pulley which any good auto electrician can do and you may need to hack saw the battery post down because it may hit on the engine mount. Depending on what size belt u run Also you will need to make a small jump wire out of a piece of 3 or 4mm wire with a push terminal on one end and another terminal to go to the battery post. The push terminal goes to the source terminal in the plug.mark "S" Also don't forget to plug the existing single plug in tho the illumination terminal in the alternator plug marked "I".
