KE26

Name: Jose Garro

Car: 1974 KE26 2 door Toyota Corolla station wagon

Engine & Driveline: standard 3K 1200 engine with 4 speed gearbox

Suspension and Brakes: standard suspension with drum in each corner

Wheels & Tires: 13 inch Formula Wheels (Minilite like wheels) with Firestone 205/60 tires

Interior & Body: Standard

I'm from Costa Rica, and I found this car thanks to a Facebook group. It has 24.000 original km (15.000 miles), no rust and everything (except the wheels) is as the factory put on it. The car was stored almost all it's life, and now I'm the second owner and the responsible for keep it like this. Plans are save money for a full respray (the color was red from factory, but now looks like a dark pink in the sun), change all the suspension rubber, rebuild the brakes, change the clutch and enjoy it a lot!

g'day members,

I've recently purchased a 1974 ke25 coupe deluxe! now its got a full service history from 74 and is completely rust free and untouched! absolute grandpa spec.Iit has the original 3k, four speed with matching numbers. Only has 87.000 original miles on the clock. Am I better off restoring as a stock car to keep its originality or will it loose value if I restore it as a mock up te27 tureno? cheers adam

Name: Chase

Car: 1971 KE20

Motor & Driveline: Stock, but I'll switch it out if a good deal catches my eye. Suspension & Brakes: Stock. I'm planning on upgrading the suspension since my corolla drives like a Sherman tank right now.

Wheels & Tyres: Stock. I've read on here I can change the wheel spoke pattern. There aren't many options for the stock pattern. Interior:Stock, and rough. The original seats need a good helping of TLC. I figure reupholstering would be a last step for the car.

Body: This little devil has been through the works. Rear end collision on the right drivers side (fixed by previous owner); rust
under both quarter windows; some hail damage; and a MAACO paint job.

Other: I bought this car and a 1983 Celica from a recently deceased neighbor's family. They were from out of state, and originally
planned on scrapping both cars. I was more than lucky to have the opportunity to buy both. Each car came with immaculate service records,
detailing everything down to the simplest lubrication of the door hinges; stretching back to the first 25,000 miles on the corolla.
Buying the two cars pushed my car stock to four, so I had to part ways with the celica to make room for the repair cost needed for the corolla.
A giant smile stretches across my face every time I drive the corolla. The previous owner also stock piled enough spare parts to almost make another car.
