Rolla Newbie Posted April 28, 2007 Report Share Posted April 28, 2007 Hi guys, I am looking at one of these as a little camping wagon but I have no idea what it is worth? It has 408K on it, and is in average condition, except for the head gasket. Are there any other drames to look for. I cannot find much on the 4AFE but I guess it is the baby version of the 4AGE. Cheers, Paul Yes you can but you'll more or less need the complete 4age motor to do it. Far easier just to swap motors etc. Head gaskets ARE different. The silhouette of the gaskets are similar but its the little things that make the difference. So is the head bolt torquing. Could always swap in the 7afe (1.8litre) block for something little different. Might be able to get away with using the 4afe ECU.
