Hey.

I'm getting sick of changing points in the 4ac and want to convert over to an electronic ignition system.

what distributor fits in ?

thanks

The AE82 4A-C came with a electronic ignition, I will double check today to see if i have a spare dizzy.

yeah i put a 4ac from an ae82 with electic ignition into my ke70 and it had the same wires. Just had to make up a lead to go from the coil i think from memory. I got an aftermarket coil for that engine as opposed to the normal one.

Just had a look and the other dizzy i have is points so i can't help you.

No worries,

Picked up one from the wreckers from an AE82 along with the coil. It fitted perfectly.

Made a huge improvement, so much more power.

thanks for your help :)

Any news on where the std coil will work with the electric dizzy?

The reason is that I just bought a new coil for the old points dizzy and don't really want to buy another one now to use with the AE82 electric dizzy.

it may be a weaker spark than the point system. best off to use a high output 12 volt coil found on any 82-88 wrecked sigma, vh vk commodore, falcon or a ae82 here is the wiring diagram.
