Johno Posted July 17, 2008 Report Share Posted July 17, 2008 (edited) I don't think it is actually "ice" More of a chemical reaction to look like ice. It gets warm. I've seen these heat packs that do the same kind of thing. They are just a gel pack with a little coin inside and you snap the coin and the gel turns white and gets warm. once you have finished using it you then heat it up in hot water to turn the heat pack back into gel.
