The fact that an organiser can be held accountable for the wrong doings of a few individuals. This is the important part. People have voted for Socialism over the last 50years, and now they have got it. Socialists believe we are all responsible for everyone, we share and care about everything in society, and the results are that we have a welfare state and laws like these. In actual truth, you should be responsible for nothing but what you, as an individual, do to someone else and there are no excuses about upbringing or how poor you are or you were drunk at the time... you do it, you're responsible. This Libertarian idea of individual responsibility has fallen out of favour since the Socialists took power, and laws like this will continue to destroy any individuality in life... You will not smoke cigarettes You will not take drugs You will not eat fat foods You will not make remarks or jokes about a person's race or religeon or... That's what democracy brings you! Imagine the billions of dollars of taxes the government would lose out on if everyone gave up smoking and takeaway. They might appear to take the moral high road, but that is all it is... appearances. As for so called car enthusiasts in groups being targeted by cops, well there are plenty of other options. A true motorsport enthusiast will take it to a legal venue, whether that be drag racing at a drag strip, motorkhanas/autocross/rallying/hill climbing through an approved car club, gokarting (both bitumen and dirt track), speedway etc. There are heaps of legal ways to get an adrenalin fix behind the wheel. There are people out there that will always be douche bags and not a whole lot is going to stop that, but that brings me to my point is why does that have to mean everyone is stereotyped... Why does everyone get the hard stick and not just these guys? Is it because we all need to be taught a lesson? Honestly i think the minority are the ones that need to be attracting the attention, not everyone that drives a "modified car" why should there be a rule for some and not for others... ...to put it into context, i live in the hills and drive down this particular road doing the speed limit quite regularly and do not be loud or obnoxious, and a resident decided to have a go at me one day for driving a car that has an exhaust ( I'm assuming is because he could hear my car) so I politely inform him that i do not drive badly or dangerously down your street and see no more immediate danger that what is already incurred when driving a car, when not long after a brand new Mitsi 380 goes flying down the street at what id hazard a guess to be 70kmh in a 50kmh quiet back street! I just don't get it how one person can do near what ever they want while others get hassled for mainly doing nothing :yes: My 2 cents.
