ok quick update,

- haltech is in and wired

- had to drill and tap the snout on the throttle body to accomodate the bigger air temp sensor for the haltech.

- LS1 coils are mounted and wired.

- First half of exhaust is welded up, up to the diff.

- Cooler pipes are nearly done, throttle side done just gotta finish the turbo side.

- Tailshaft loop is done, tail shaft is in,

- rear end is completely welded up now

- radiator is on its way from just alloy radiators.

From what I can see majority of them are not straight either. And good to hear that the push on works just as good :)

 

Certainly do, if you've put one together you wouldn't doubt them.

 

Tips for beginners when putting them together - Soak the hose in some HOT water for a little while prior. It'll make the hose slightly more flexi. Also wiping a small amount of grease or dishwashing liquid around the fitting or end of the hose helps. :wink:

 

Also anybody thinking of using them - The fitting itslef isn't really any cheaper than a braided one, its the hose itself that can save you some coin.
