B.L.Z.BUB
Ok. Got home after waiting for the missus to get her hair cut for 3.5 hours. Got stuck back in to it. Drilled out the rad support and mounted some hectic JDM as bonnet pins as my bonnet was flapping about without the middle support. Bonnet down, ready to go :D Dropped the water and flushed the rad. Pit in some coolant and took it for a spin. It made it to the servo, smoke was billowing out from the engine bay from the heat wrap, got some strange looks. Drove it up and down the back roads for ages fine tuning things. The throttle kept getting jammed open so I had to remount the acc cable. Then it started heating up, even when the thermo fan kicked in. Had a look, turns out the polarity of the fan motor was wired to blow instead of suck, love easy ones like that. There was still this weird hesitation/power drop outs. I fiddled with the AFM for ages, got it to a good place but still had some pops and farts. Checked the plugs, gapped and cleaned them, threw them back in. 10x WORSE than before. But a good indication of whats wrong. Went and grabbed some cheapies and threw them in. The one out of cyl 4 was still covered in fuel. Took it for a last spin, it was getting late and I was at that point where you CBF anymore. Sorted, boosting, running cool. Just needs a wash.
