Engineering Ae71 4Age Help

apparently the laws have been changed from what ive heard

so is it still possible to engineer and register a ae71 4age in nsw

does anyone know if its still possible and if so what needs to be

changed/upgraded do i need bigger brakes and shit like that

any help would be appreciated

That said you should have no major issues getting it engineered. Theres no change in capacity, and the conversion uses all standard parts, plus a marginal increase in power. It could be argued its just an efi conversion.

 

About the brakes, I think the standard ones would be acceptable (providing good condition) the engineer might suggest uprated rotors and pads. Or you could point out the specifications for JDM 86 brakes, ask if they'd be more suitable.

thanks for all the advice yeah i might go with ae86 stuff eventually

ive got a few things to do first before its ready for rego

so i was just doing some research and yeah it pretty much is n efi conversion

kinda lol same size motor that would be a pretty strong point to put across

to the engineer
