Bit more improvement...........

 

front wiper panel welded up and the windshield fit perfectly............... :wootjump:

and did some delicate art on rear RHS vent and LHS fuel cap

i like mat finish.........and polished them up for good chrome shine

some thing i forgot to tell you.........

 

replaced wiper blades with new old stock ( not actually new a bit.......... just a bit used......) trico wiper blades........

i like them because they are old and curved nicely as the windshield........ :rocknroll:

polished the rear boot lid chrome trim

replaced the brackets with PVC plates and new bolts (old brackets had rust and no way to repair them)

here's a little update

 

took the seats to reupholster ( only the sitting part was out of stitches )

it is still in original seat covers with this unique emboss beauties

and then i cleaned up the winder handles ( there were lot of grease on the back of it........ i don't know why :hmm: )

then did some paint job

then it was time to get the hammer and something straight and solid, and straightened up this aluminum panels

decided to clean the dash

before cleaning i oiled the cables in the heater control unit and here's the unit

OK update time

 

i thought to paint the rolla emblem in matte black

bought the heater hose yesterday

and here's the tail lights , cleaned the inside very well ( need to clear coat)

but now it have some corrosion on top of it and need to strip the paint and repaint it.

now i'm stripping the paint without using "paint remover" huh huh ;)

repainted the temp selector with light blue

and i found that front lower panel is called " Beaver panel " :lolcry: :lolcry: :lolcry:

Its the first one that gets messed up when you hit one.

Ha Ha Ha :lolcry: but in sri lanka , aren't any beavers in roads........... but we have dogies........ but we brake hard at em at high speeds and turn upside down the car............. :lolcry: :lolcry:

Man, where did you get this Hitachi AC? I 'm searching for that for my Ke20 since ages:(

ooops i didn't buy it........ it came with the car when i bought the car...... but i know it is an optional A/C unit

and i have seen another one only once, in another ke20 in sri lanka.............. |blink|

and i also search about this item on the web........... but unable to find a clue........ :?
