altezzaclub
I'll partially support the carbs We welded a vertical bolt onto the extractors and bolted a bar across it to take the weight of the DCOEs. Put a couple of rubber washers in the joint to allow the vibratons to get absorbed and with the bolt thread its adjustable..
Jono.C
I thought about something like that, luckily these aren't very heavy so it's not going to be hard to make 2 little support brackets to the rocker cover to keep them in place. I've found the neatest way to do it but I just haven't got any flat bar at the moment. I'll throw some photos up in my thread soon
snot35
Looking forward to it. What carbs did you go for?
Jono.C
Keihin bike carbs. Can't remember exactly what they're off, I have it written somewhere but they were pre jetted for a tough 4k when I bought them. Anyway I'll go take pics now and put them in my thread instead of clogging up this one
BrendanRye
When i come to doing engine work, my uncle will tell me what to do. He has built a few race engines in his time, even a few out of 4k's.
BrendanRye
Sprayed the bumpers to make them look a bit nicer and cleaned up the rims.
