anyhow, today, plans are:

1. raise the front off the lowest, hardest settings on the coilovers so it can at least steer(the wheels scrub on the guards bad, and are chunking the edges of the tyres out even at small turns.

2. rewire the fuel pump, thermo fan, stereo and any other ones i see that need immediate attention

3.try and find an O2 sensor for the thing, no idea if it fell out on the drive home, or it never had one.

4. try and get the TPS wired up

coffee, then I'm onto it

sorry for the rant

thanks for your time

spoke directly to Kyle on Facebook after finding him there

it appears it wasnt him, and simply someone he sold it to, or that they then passed it on to..

apologized to him and on his thread.

i suppose what we can take from this is, to check it out fully before doing the deal.!

You might be able to use the o2 sensor from the hatchback.

Thinking about it, it might be a good idea to pull the motor out so that you'll be able to have a good look around it and the engine bay.

cos ifelt i wasnt a true R.C member without a Rolla.

Ha, if i can get the 4wd i want, if i can get it past ambers head that its looks doesn't really matter, i'll be the bane of RC....

Might pop around soon and have a gander, I'm heading into town shortly.

sure thing mate

jacked the front end up to an acceptable height. doesnt scrub now.

the front looks like it was nicely done, AE86 BC coilovers, and vented and slotted AE86 discs.

replaced the clutch master cylinder with an AE71 one from Repco ($120)

got a clutch now, that doesnt appear to leak..!

wired up the thermo fan to a switch in the console.

re wiring the stereo now

then doing the fuel pump wire, as it runs through the cabin and was buried under some rags(an attempt to hide it, methinks)

found a 'spare' O2 sensor, so hopefully sorting that out too

took pics as i went along. will up them later
