Ke55 Discs Into Ke20

Have put ke55 discs into front of my 1971 ke20. Have got no pedal pressure, has to be pumped a few times to firm them up. Its older master cylinder type. Has anyone else done this conversion and had trouble? Ive read it could be my master cylinder being too small for the front calipers. They are girlocks.

Any help much appreciated. Cheers.

You could try this to isolate the problem from front or back:

take off the rear brake line from the master cylinder and blank it with a bolt or union blank of the same size, and then try using the brakes, you will soon know if its the rear drums.

Basic troubleshooting starts by isolating parts of the system to work out which area you need to look into further.

Hope that helps
