nerfbat Posted November 25, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2013 we have a big monkey bike club cruise and camp at somerset this weekend, followed by daily rides up through mt glorious. cannot wait..! we had to register with the local cops what we were doing, due to the new VLAD laws that Campbell Newman has introduced. we are fcking 50 cc monkey bikes FFS..! not bloody gun runners... nerfbat Posted December 9, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 9, 2013 this is full custom built by a locksmith in brissie. rides it everywhere now, Mick's here is insane..! twin cam 146cc 5 speed Takegawa gearbox, all the go fast bits. and here is a crazy story: him and my boss' bike were the 2 fastest on the cruise and camp. all weekend they would push each other on the rides. now on sunday, Mick, i am told, was going 130 kph, and streamed past my boss, who was doing about 114. i am back behind these 2 and they are going off into the sunset and i lose them around a corner. i am doing maybe 108 ish? going by the speedo i round this corner to see Mick and my boss on the side of the road, smoke billowing out of Mick's bike, i'm thinking "fck he pushed it too hard" they then tell me the story Mick got away from my boss, and when he rounded the corner, saw Mick weaving crazily all over his lane, as he pulled up, in a big smoke cloud. He gets up to him, and Mick's rear sprocket bolts had worked lose, and locked up his wheel at 130 kph..! very very lucky he kept it upright..! insane..!
