B.L.Z.BUB
Dropped it in, woop. Noisy as ʞ©$ɟ, clutch is grippy as ʞ©$ɟ, short shifter is balls deep in ʞ©$ɟ, clutch pedal feels like ʞ©$ɟ. All in all its brilliant. Reverse gear in like a whacky shack, no idea whats going on there. But it builds character. Bolt hole de-loctiter Ghetto box lifter hole chop mounted Daddy I like your steps Self tappers FTW Fits quite snug Good position. Its gonna take a bit to get used to. B.L.Z.BUB
Replaced the gearbox mount to see if it would fix my 'wobble' issue. Worst fitting piece of crap ever, took me over an hour for a 10 minute job. Didnt fix shit, pretty sure its the clutch, might try some 4th gear standstill clutch frying to see if it even out the faces.

rian
Didnt fix shit, pretty sure its the clutch, might try some 4th gear standstill clutch frying to see if it even out the faces. Isn't this what causes clutch shudder?
B.L.Z.BUB
OK so I just put it all back in with fresh everything. Spigot, thrust bearings, rear main, the clutch got completely degreased and a mad scrub. Took it for a small run up the driveway and the massive wobble that was there seems to have gone so I'm guessing the wobble was oil contamination from either the rear main or thrust bearing leaking. It has this weird creaking noise coming from it but I'm hoping shit will settle and that will go.
rian
Is the tailshaft a mix-n-match job? Did you get it balanced? Although it would cause more of a vibration than a wobble. Edited February 6, 2015 by rian

B.L.Z.BUB
Well it didn't break, leak or explode on the way to work. Gear changes are so much better. There's a bunch of new weird noises but I remedied that with the stereo volume.
