I can relate to this, finding the motivation to go out into the 5°c shed is...difficult at the best of times. B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 12, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 12, 2015 Started getting a steering wobble under braking, thought I'd have a peek. Found this, unrelated to the wobble but yeah. Sway bar resting against the LCA, plus the sway bar ball joint was on a crazy angle. Not really sure how whoever installed them managed that. Wound the links up as far as I could and gained about 10mm minimum at the closest through the turning range. As for the steering wobble I think the crazy offset has flogged out the front right bearings. Theres a bit of movement up and down and also side to side and all tie rods etc seem good. Then the next day I decided to do some more improvised off roading across some pot holed shit. Stock spoiler back on, kinda prefer it. B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 25, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2015 I came across this picture , kinda liked it. Just happened to find a louvre in a 2nd hand store that kinda was the same shape. This is a test fit. And seeing as the genuine dealer option ones seem to be non-existent... So one thing led to another. Made a small panel to fill between the roof and the top. WIngnut bolts into the original mounting points for the stock roof lip. Couple of brackets off the C pillar trim mounts. Done, might trim the sides a bit so its more angular.
