ke70dave Posted August 7, 2015 Report Share Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) Me thinks you needs to read more of the internets Engine - 4age either from an ae86, ae82 or ae92. if you go the one from the ae92 you will need to cut and reweld the inlet manifold to point it the right way, the ae92 is the better engine. Gearbox - ae86 or ae71, called the T50. the t50 from the celicas will not work. Pedal box - ae71, or custom make something. You just need a way to operate the clutch hydraulic master. Gearbox cross member - ae71 only, the ae86 or ke70 doesnt fit. Wouldnt be hard to make something though. Flywheel - Comes with the engine. though research weather the ae92 smallport flywheel fits inside the t50, i can't remember. Clutch-buy one brand new to suit your engine. Clutch fork - ae71/ae86 Throw out bearing and carrier - ae71/ae86 Clutch fork clips- ae71/ae86 Clutch master - ae71/ae86 but the same clutch master came in many 80s toyotas. don't pay a premium for it, no more than $50 brand new. Clutch slave - same as clutch master. Clutch hard and soft lines - Idealy ae71, but any rwd toyota of the same era will probably fit pretty close. or just bend up some brand new tubing. Buy a new soft line. Pending which gearbox you get which dictates what side the clutch master is, you may need a banjo fitting on the clutch slave to avoid the soft line hitting your exhaust. Drive shaft - ae71 if you intend to keep the standard ae71 differential, you will need an ae86 one if you use an S series diff (don't use an S series), you will need a JDM ae86 or Ausi T18 tailshaft if you intend to use a T series diff. Fuel pump - either go a jdm ae86 tank with the intank pump, or use an external tank with an internal lift pump and use a surge tank. Do your fuel system once, and do it correctly. Spigot bearing - part number 6001 i think, just a basic bearing, suits the engine. cheap as. Loom - comes with your chosen engine. Ecu - comes with your chosen engine Exhaust - either use oem RWD jdm ae86 4age extractors for the ae82/ae86 4age, or buy some aftermarket extractors for the ae92 smallport. get a proper exhaust made by an exhaust shop for the rest.
