I am suppose to get the signal wire from ignition but worried that i will burn something out. If someone can help me to select the signal wire will be very much appreciated. altezzaclub Posted January 18, 2022 Report Share Posted January 18, 2022 In a KE70 it comes off the coil negative, the black wire going to the distributor. There is a dedicated wire for it in the stock loom, even though the standard KE70 didn't have a tacho. You might find it in your wiring, or run a fresh wire from the coil -ve. My coil has only 2 wires apart from the HT connection to the distributor and when tested with multi-meter, they show + voltage with chassis ground.
