The 2TG head is a twincam 8 valve varient cast by Yamaha for Toyota, All others are pushrod HEMI style 8 valve heads. | |||
There is a difference between early and late 2T blocks, so the starter motor won't bolt on if you got the wrong one. let's say you want to use a late model starter motor on an old block, you have to change the plate between the block and flywheel to the newer type. | |||
Then you can grind off the little tap on the starter and mount it upside down, that worked for me :) | |||
