Hey, cheers for the reply!
Yea the clutch is a cable clutch but the actual pedal seems to be hydraulic, looks like the bloke we bought the car off drilled through the firewall and added on a master cylinder for the clutch pedal.
Sorry i wasn't clear enough when explaining that.
We also had a look at the gregory's manual to adjusting the clutch cable and if we have the e clip 6 grooves in then the cable wont reach the pedal at all, in fact it falls about an inch and a half short, the only way to get the cable to reach is to feed the cable through so all the grooves sit in the firewall and are in line with the damper, but then the clutch barely moves when we push the pedal in and wont return back to a good resting point, it will just stay depressed and we'll have to pull it out.
Any idea on how to sort this out?
EDIT* after a bit of browsing the internet i've found out that the clutch master cylinder is a TA22 and that the guy we got it from was planning on putting in a 4age so installed the hydraulic clutch pedal, it's not just me being a retard :P
