Hi Thanks for your help everyone. I have already checked the ignition ( Dwell, timing and there are a brand new set of leads on it). Fuel definately pu,ps into to the carby aswell. The car never seems to run hot, although the guage may be lying. I will try the needle and seat. Thanks

hi I own a 1984 Ke70 sedan. It drives perfectly for long distances untill you turn off the engine, then the car refuses to restart and when it does it constantly stalls and has zero acceleration. Even if you let the car sit still for a few hours it still doesn't work. However if you let the car "rest" overnight it is magically fixed and runs fine again untill u stop again. Noone has any idea what is wrong with it, the only thing i haven't done is try an exorcism. Can anyone help?
