    I checked that box today and I think it is actually a 5 spd.

     

    Does the ECU on a 4-age have to be earthed? still having no luck with spark and now have lost injector pulse. Have downloaded an AE82 wiring diagram and am trying to double check all the wiring again!!

    it bloody happend alright! its red!, and a bit of TLC and it should come up pretty good,its even got an air con! :),BUT i think the engines stuffed..sounds like a big end bearing :lol:,so if anybody has a 4k.....

    I think Vince may have wanted a KE70 hydro pedalbox at some point. Not sure if he still does or if he wants one for his new project.

    Might be able to copy the AE71 hydro bit to earlier models anyway. Probably could mod a KE70 one to fit earlier models but not really worth it imo.

    So the KE30 one will fit yours Tom yeah? I don't think you want to bother with a KE70 one, just thought that might suit Vince.

     

    can't remember how much a port is, but I was talking to my engine guy about it. I should be swinging past there tomorrow so I'll try to remember to ask about it.

    yeah I'm pretty sure a KE30 will fit no worries,i just gotta find one :jamie: but that would be great if you could find all the prices cheers :)

    Hydraulic pedal box for KE70 Seabiscuit?

    Because if you get a cable one we might be able to mod/copy it to the same as the AE71 pedal box I have here...

    yeah i don't know to much about the whole ae71 and ke70 thing and wouldnt know if it would fit a 55? thanks fellas :no2:

    Should have asked me before I scrapped the wagon! If you can find me a hydraulic pedal box I'll give you my KE30 one :no2:

    If you can get a 5-speed KE70 box (sorry, need to keep mine) as they're easier to come across. I've got a KE55 extension housing

    to convert it to fit your car.

    mmm :jamie: well hang on to the housing and ill try and find a KE70 box :jamie: i would love to have a 5 speed :dance:

    hi I'm new i own a 1978 KE55 (my first car and i love it) its nothing fancy but it gets me from a to b and i one day have dreams of putting something stupid in it (253 or bigger) and i would like to learn more about corollas ive seen a few getting about in my local area (Theodore)

    YES another 55 way to go mate, my first car is a 55 too :no2: a biege one

    How's everyone doing? A bit rattled by the cruise I take it :bash:

     

    Diff isn't falling apart yet, Sloth? I did them up as tight as I could!

    Hope all is going well NVE00S. Couldn't believe you'd take your car up the mineshaft. Good thing you didn't

    start rolling back down, though.

    the tenner is great! :( all i saw was a blue flash go up the mineshaft and bits of car trailing after it :D hope the car is going be all good :D
