(split from http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=7353) my 4k just started doing similar things this evening... i heard a popping noise then a bit of a hiss after that, i had troubles accelerating. Basically any time i placed load on the engine i had troubles... free revving seems to be ok, but idle is pretty wierd. when i stopped the car, there were some smoky fumes coming from the engine bay. could i have cracked my exhaust manifold? any ideas what else it could be in my case? head gasket? loss of compression in a cylinder?
