Ke20 5 Speed Conversion

Hi, wanting to know what k series gearbox will bolt up to a ke20 tailshaft/ cross member with minimal cutting to the tunnel for the gear stick? ke3# ke5#? and is a ke70 5sp too long? Don't want the gear stick hitting the handbrake when in reverse. thanks

The 55 gearbox is what you want. You may have to re-drill the crossmember still.

I used the ke70 box. I had to cut the tunnel a bit and redrill the crossmember. Shifter doesn't interfere with the handbrake.

Also used a ke70 box. Apart from enlarging the shifter hole and redrilling the crossmember, no problems.
