Is Ke30 axle assembly the same as later years?

So I have a te31 with a S314 axle, I noticed that the ae86 SR5 claims to have a S-series axle. Is this basically the exact same but with different mounting perches?

I mainly want to know if I can do the SR5 disc conversion that ae86garage has.
