Hi all
Can some one tell me if i need to change my sump on a 100kw 4age when coverting to RWD if so will a 4ac sump do.
-
Thanks for feed back.
Dayley drive + 205 tyres and may be a track day from time to time.
I know the brakes are not great on the rear but i have an r31 diff for it but the cost to convert it to 1320mm is $800 to $1000 and it all seems to be an over kill.

Hi all
Will the standard ke25 diff handal a 100kw 4age.
Has some one try to do this as the body weight is only 850kg. How long will it last?
:hmm:

I think this is my only option thanks guys

You use two short axles in both sides but it still ends up at 1410mm total and offset diff center. So maybe shorten shorten one side more will get the center closer to where should be and give me 1320mm Thanks that will work better and should cost me about $750

okay so I thought I would do a wee bit of research. Apparently you can unbolt the shifter off the back of the 6 speed ( J160 or AZ6 ) and turn it around to the forward position which is 2 inches further forward. This is still possibly not quite enough to clear the handbrake though ?
Apparently The AZ6 is fitted to the SXE10, the S15, the RX8 and the MX5 Miata.
You learn something everyday aye ? The olds have an RX8 with the 6 speed, it has an extremely short shift from factory and it is a bloody nice box to drive with.
Anyway I hope this helps.
Phil.
Think I will have a look at some remote shifter from other cars and vans to see what sort or clearance is required.

I'm just about finished my conversion in my KE30. I found that the 6 speed is an extremely long gearbox and the shifter would've been where my handbrake is so I'm using a W57 with a modified bellhousing. Have a look at the link below any other questions just ask away.
Thanks this is a great help. I will have to do a measure up and i was thinking there are a lot of cars with remot shifters that may be worth looking at.

Swaybar
in KExx Corolla Discussion
Posted
Hi all I have a ke25 and want to up grade front swaybar and I can't find one. I was told that a TA22 bar will fit my car and I believe that it is 22mm bar that would be perfect. Can anyone tell if this will work or not.
