all good my mate fixed it had to drain the old fluid and put new one in and rebleed it and adjust it all but thanks for the help guys you really did help
-
well that the thing i bleed them like 5 or 6 time i going back Monday and complain about it and if they try and charge me i tell them to shove it up there ass for now on i working on my car but if they fix it saves me time
-
i planing on getting a 4age but i want the car to be safe and i adjusted the breaks the back left is good and the back right is pretty much touching the drum and does not move
if i had a little crack or some thing in my master cylinder would that do the same only asking cause i was going to get them and put them on and work from there

what type of car mate? car is toyota corolla ae80
Do the brakes not stop the car as they should? no the bearly slow the car
Does the pedal go down very far? pedal goes to the floor but if i pump it the work but goes back to normal but both front work and only back left back right does not stop that has no breaks what so eva
Does the handbrake work? hand break works but only left side
Can you lock the brakes up if you push hard? Which wheels lock, front or back? no they don't
When you get in, press the pedal and hold it down while you start the car. Does the pedal suddenly sink down as the motor starts? yeas it does
Does it lose fluid so you have to top it up? no i don't
also i been thinkin of disc breaks on the back if i need new booster and or cylinder would this be the best time to do it ?
-
hey guys my back left break was locking up so i took it to torque tyres to fix it got new cylinders for the drums and now when i push the breaks i have no power and there no noise so i was wounding if you guys would know whats wrong?
i was thinking maybe the didn't bleed them probably but i have a feeling i might need a new break booster and master cylinder
it seems like i can never win with this car

Engine:4a carby stock
Exterior: white with black bonnet
interior: blue and black seat covers red sorry just forgot bout them
Suspension: stock
OK been looking for a place to get the exhaust done everlast was my first choice but they was in tea tree plaza and wanted 350-400 for it. found other places closer but had a look at there work and didn't like it and they wanted 600 and more so i think i go with everlast. i going to get a 2" cat back exhaust with a dump tip only cause i not in to cannons i sorry guys but i don't like the whole body kits and cannon exhaust.
also just finished my sound system i have a kenwood head unit and 4" kenwood speakers hidden in the dash like stocks and 6"in the rear parshallshulf (sorry if i miss spelled it spelling my week point) and thats it

looks good i got a ae82 as well same engine but stock what mods you got i thinking i might do some

You'd have to make sure its not clutch drag from the clutch not releasing properly. If you wait 5seconds with the clutch held down, does it still crunch?? If it doesn't its just residualy spin in the layshaft, but if it does its clutch drag.
I assume they're hydraulic, and if either cylinder is not holding pressure properly they will not pull the pressure plate right off the clutch plate so it will keep the gearbox spinning a little. As first is a synchro gear you won't notice a little clutch drag, but reverse is straigh-cut and it crunches easily.
I can't think of any car of the many I've owned that crunched into reverse unless there was a problem with the clutch... Another one was lack of grease on the splines at the clutch plate- it stopped the clutch freeing completely on an old Skyline I had.
i try hold the clutch tomorrow morning when i wake up and see if it does it but the other way work fine

looks awesome hope i can get my car looking that awesome
-
Yea I do, But I also have a brand new car battery as well :( so do you think it would still be that?
could try it no harm in that and sorry if i couldn't
-
well thought i let you guys know that i been putting my car in first then revers and so far no crunch so i just wanna say thank you guys
-
my mate had the same prob with his pulser ended up being the battery needed charging. do you have a sub and amp and do you use the when the car not running?
-
Still basically the same engine though, just 300cc larger. And just as unlikely to get "amazing" gains from purely changing plug and leads, unless the existing leads are made from string and the plugs are Bic lighters.
well bout 4months ago i did a ohm test on my leads and one lead was 1.7 ohm's and the rest was 1.6-7 k ohm's is that good or bad i got told it good but the 1.7ohm was very good had no resistance but i don't know much bout that i still learning
sorry if i spelled ohm wrong
-
"Way" quicker? What drugs are you smoking/injecting? The amount of power you would gain on a 2AC from high-power plugs and leads is minimal at best, and more likely nothing other than a placebo/+10kw on the clueless-bum-dyno. It's a freaking standard 1.3L SOHC carby 2AC for crying out loud.
no it a standard 1.6 carby the old owner changed the engine

Mate get Spitfire, very expensive tho
Spitfire never heard off them? where i get them from
-
is your 'baby' standard?
then just get whatever is listed at the auto parts store. for all of the above items. just get a decent brand, penrite for oil, NGK for spark plugs etc.
no need to change the spark plugs or leads if they arent broken.
yeah she is
-
what would the best spark plugs and leads to get when changing them oh and what oil filter and oil for a Toyota corolla ae80 engine 4ac i want the best for my baby
-
