Hello, I'm havin a little trouble. Last night i was out with some friends, got back to my car to find that someone using a wire or some shiz popped the lock up and stole some stuff in my car. I know rollas are incredibly easy to brake into cause ive had to do it when ive locked my keys in my car. Just wondering if any one would have any ideas on how to prevent these things from happening. Thanks for your advise Jono, ive got a spare alternator so when i bring my ke to the mechanic ill get him to hook it up too.

ah yes, i did some research and found out where it is lol, I'm tryin to learn a bit more about my engine. Thanks for your help, ill take a walk down to my car now and see if its doing what you say might be the problem.

hi, yeah my car just quietly turns off, doesnt feel or sound like a stall. i live on a hill and so i could only test it on a hill, couldnt get the car to a flat area. Stupid question... does the crank pulley sit behind the carby? ill try that thanks. Ive tried to start the car with the clutch in and ive tried with the clutch out in N. I always used to start my car with the clutch in, I'm not sure if its better to start a car in N but thats the way ive always done it. Perhaps ive flooded the engine with petrol, whenever it didnt start id always try to give the gas a little pump to get the car to start, maybe i tried too hard lol.

Hello, i have a problem with my ke70... On some occassion's my car will start, but when i turn it off after a while it wont start. it either starts really well and quick or itll crank really slow until it just gives up and then it wont even try to crank. i just had a second hand starter motor installed that was in good condition, my alternator apparently could be better. I thought it was the alternator but i put a brand new battery in and still it didnt start even though it was fully charged. I changed the battery terminals and that didnt work either... needed to be done anyway. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! :-)
