  1. Hey guys,

Can someone please confirm the ability to put power steering into a ke70/AE71. Now I know it's not hard to drive without it, but I have read that it can be put in with the use of the ae86 crossmember and power steering rack. I have tried to have a look on her to see if anyone has done it, but can't find anything.

If anyone has any info, links to threads, pics, etc. Throw them up, i'd love to take a peak.

    Cheers.

  2. Hey guys, I have my '93 EG Civic up for sale.

Car runs perfectly. I've had this car for just over 3 years, and have had literally no troubles with it.

Reason for sale, is that i'm moving interstate for uni, and wont be needing a car anymore.

    Pros-

    2 brand new tires

    Reg until November 2012

Awesome on fuel - approx 600k's to a full tank of premium

Perfect learner, project or first car.

    Cons-

New speedo installed. Old one stopped working. New reading 127xxx (when actual k's on the car are 204xxx)

    >>I have the old speedo to prove it.

Small tear in back seat, you can see in photo.

Right speaker stopped working, and don't have time to sort it out.

RWC not supplied. I leave in less than a week, and don't have the time to sort it all out.

I have no doubt that it will make it though.

  3. Hey, I have a KE70, and a 4A-GZE lined up. Got pretty much everything. But have been told that I 'need' and AE71 pedal box/clutch line, etc

I'm getting the engine off my cousin. He had it in a KE38 which ran a 4K setup, the same as the KE70. He said that he didn't get a new pedal box or anything.

So, i'm wondering if i'll be able to get away without the AE71 pedal box and stuff.

Any info or recommendation will be helpful.

    Cheers,

    Callum.

  4. have a google mate, there are soooo many turbo ke70's around these days.

    found this

    http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/14414-3sgte-KE70-For-Sale.

looks pretty reasonably stealth to me:

paint it black and knowone will notice anything.

though this one protrudes below the beaver panel a bit, be nice if it was mounted a bit higher perhaps.

    That's awesome. Perfect :D

Coz I have the GZE, does the intercooler need to be that big? Or could it be smaller. Coz some superchargers don't need as much cooling down like turbos.

    Cheers.

  5. Hey, i'm doing a 4A-GZE engine conversion into a KE70. And i'm wondering what locations the intercooler can be mounted. Preferably, I want something out of vision, but I hear if it's to close to the radiator is sucks in hot air and defeats the purpose of it.

Any insight, or pics would be much appreciated.

    Cheers.

  6. I took my stock ke70 in to get a roadworthy the other day. He picked on a few minor things.

But one of the things was focus and adjusting the headlights. Now, i'm new to cars and stuff. But i've never heard of focusing headlights.

And when I put them on, they are fine!!

I'm just curious of if this guy was shitting on, or if there is an actual way to adjust and focus the lights.

    Any help would be helpful.

    Cheers.

  7. Hey, i'm new to this forum, and rollas in general. I bought a ke70 just recently, and am trying to get her up and running for a roadworthy.

Seeing as the drivers seat I have in it at the moment is totally screwed. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or info of what seats bolt straight in, or use the least amount of effort. Just so that I can get the car roadworthy.

Once it is, i'll work on it form there :)

    Cheers.
