  1. Hey Guys, I plan to move the car into the shed this weekend somehow [brakes are well and truly seized] going to strip, sand blast and start gather bits to replace rust holes. After some deliberating i think a 4age swap is in our best interests. Keep you posted. Again thanks for everyone's input.
  2. Lol ok if people can create sexy street cars i think we can pull of a rally car. Thank you. Ok I'm going to have a good look tomorrow thanks for the tip. Thank you for the kind words, frankie jay would be an awesome project to share. My old man helped me get my gemmy going i owe him this. I will be back with pics once we get stuck into her. Thanks again guys.
  3. Ok mate, ill try and be a bit more specific, iv had a look over it and its not all doom and gloom..........yet. Ill pop some pics up and hopefully you guys can give the final yay or nay. Thanks for the kind words. Hi mate, pity i am not closer that woulda been a fair deal. But being in Newcastle NSW its a bit of a drive, petrol and other expenses would make the whole job redundant. Thank you though. Co'rocket in question: Just in front of the back wheel arch: Just behind it: Above rear window: Below rear window: Right hand window: Right hand door:
  4. Thanks again Parrot. My question was if i needed a new shell how much would one cost on average, i considered it to be straight forward. Sorry for that. I'll try and get some pics to keep you curiosity peaked. Thank you.
  5. I had a quick look over it today and being a rally car, its not too bad in shape. Thank you, i wish i had the forethought to finish it for him 2-3 years ago. I ll post some pics when its in the shed and ready to be worked on.
  6. Gday guys/gals, My old man is a bit of a Toyota Enthusiast. He has had a few ke20's as road and rally cars, he has had one sitting in the back yard under a Tarp for yonks [Rally/hill climb, 2lt] and I'm worried that the shell wont be any good if we don't get stuck into it soon, he has a very hectic work schedule so i'd like to do a bit for him. If the shell has gone to far, how much would it set me back to get him another in relatively good shape??? He's provided me with so much and hasnt had much time to indulge in his own hobbies i really want this project to happen for him in the near future. [That and my gemmy has taken up room in his shed for the last 5 yrs      ] I'm in Newcastle, NSW for reference. Thank you in advance. PS. Does anyone on the forum reproduce the Japanese style guard flares????
