Hello there, My name is Ange and thanks for stopping by my little piece motoring history.

This little Corolla was my Nana's car – hence the name of the Nana Car. She is a 1967 or 1968 KE10 Toyota Corolla. Still trying to determine that part (Thanks to help of Jono & Ken from the RollaClub we have now determined she is actually a 1968 model. Thanks Guys)

My Nana, Phylis Jean Jones bought the car brand new in 1968 in Mount Gambier when she was 55 years old.

Nana loved her little car and travelled many miles in her.

She made many trips from where she lived in both Penola S.A. and Victor Harbour S.A. to Warrnambool Vic (where I grew up as a kid).  A seven hour journey through the Coonawarra, something that may have been daunting to other small car drivers but a journey she cherished to be able to spend time with her family she adored.

She always loved to drive, and drove the car constantly until she passed away in her early 90's

This is the time when I took over the 'legacy' of the car and started the journey of restoring her for future family members to love, enjoy and remember all the fun days with Nana.

As for the future of Nanas car – that's simple.  To keep her spirit alive, drive her as constantly as possible and enjoy every moment where the car is involved whether that be being behind the wheel heading out somewhere for a picnic, or working on the motor at home.
