:) after so much time has past the car is home and i have been busy with my half cut
so there are the picks of the half cut not that clear but u get the point so the motor is out and i have started to strip it i through it has taken this long better do i right first time all parts getting painted etc
so there are a few of it being strip now some of the painting before
after
so though i would buy a few things to help it move a bit better adjustable cam gears and a gates racing timing belt pics below
so with all the parts looking good could not put it on a bad looking head and block, also wanted to see what the boars looked like so took the head off sent away and got it acid cleaned and skimed new seals etc
as u can see in the 3rd photo the boars still have the cross hatch and no lips so all good not going to stip the bottom end any more but am going to get the block sand blasted and painted this is the pics before the block got sent away
thats is all I'm up to for now post more soon

am going to put a 4agze in it ,as for the old frame lets just say its dead to us now, got cut up and scraped
also have decided to get rid of the reverse lights and going to put in l.e.ds in
here are the lights i am thinking of putting in
-
yeah sorry for the long delay but it has been out of my hands only just got it back from the panel shop the role pan looks good but thats the reason for all the delay i did not have to worry about the spare tyre bracket as i am going to move the spare into the back behind the front seats and probly put a drop tank on it also will try put more pics on more regular as i have the motor ordered and it will be ready for me in about 5 weeks
-
WOW it has been a long time since i go work dune on this car. my panel beater has struggled with the concept of the rollpan and it has not been dune before i think. We had a few hick ups but we got there in th end here is the pic.
-
Cool, what colour is the car going to be and will the new panels where the windows were be the same as the rest of the car?
going to paint it a new toyota blue 8p1 window panels on out side will be same colour but inside will be black trim work
-
Awesome... are you going to put a single panel inside as well?
no i think it will look better with trim work on the in side
-

Hi guy was wouder if u can help i want to do a brake and suspension upgrade to front and rear off my pano so it will be able to take the 4agze i plan to put in down the track
the only thing is i would like to keep it all toyota if that is at all possible
i have heard the corona mk2 "F" series diff will fit not sure what centre to put in that plus i would love to put disc rear end
allso have heard u can use ra23 front struts but just want to make sure if i want big wheels they will not scrub
-
Wow it's been hit pretty hard, but fixing that is much better than trying to salvage the original shell.
Are you keeping the side windows or welding in the flat panels from your first shell?
welding in the flat panels from first shell
-
ok a lot has happen since my last post so thought i would up date have found my self a new body was going to use it as a doner car but my panel beater said he would be better fixing the new one (no rust)

windows look the goods, just have to add curtains, or paint inside of windows. matt black spray paint looks shocking from inside, but looks like limo tint from outside- cos it's a van, you can get away with it too! :P
can u put a pic of yours never seen one with only one window on the side before and little hard to see the little pic
-
what type is it / where'd you get it.. stupid question i know but heh
its all custum a guy i know made it and it mild steel
-
good luck doing that mate... how much did the metal set you back etc?
not much only $80 all foled spock to the panel beater he said he will give it a go next week some time
