  1. I used your one. It's pretty HEKTIK. I got most of the rust out, except the shit around the windscreen. I can live with it falling out on me one day :y:
  2. Righto Attach the green wire from your tacho to the black wire on the plug in this picture: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=466289 You can twist the wires together and tape them up with electrical tape, but I used a couple of wire connectors like this (you could also use some male-female crimps): http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=466287 Next you will need to connect the red wire to the "on" wire on your ignition as shown here, it is a black wire with a brown stripe: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=466297 However there is another wire on the same plug as rev signal wire that works aswell as shown here: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=466298 I connected it the same way as the green wire: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=466286 You will then need to find an unpainted screw to earth the black wire onto. Your tacho should work if you have installed it correctly following those steps.
  3. Thanks for the instructions there Medicine_Man, they helped alot. I got the tacho running after a bit of experimenting with the wires. I'll post some pics up and a small how-to either later on today or tomorrow on how I did it for future reference.
  4. Hey I was just wondering if anyone could help me out. I need to install an aftermarket tacho into my 5 speed ke70. I have no idea where to wire it into. I was under the impression that it would be into the wires behind the clock in the dash. I did a search earlier but nothing helped. console wires: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=466031 tacho wires: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=466032 If anyone could tell me which wires connect to what it would be greatly appreciated.
