Hello All, I'm from Melbourne, Australia l was wondering if l could have some advice please... My father in law is going on his 90,s & can't drive anymore,... He has passed on his 1977 Toyota Corolla onto us, He says it has to many sad memories for him...: We have nowhere to put the car & it is of no use to us... l don't want to see it deteriorate by us using it as a daily driver, He purchased it NEW in 1977 from Yarra Valley Toyota in Melbourne Its showing 69000 Kms, He says that is the genuine Kms, Its Registered until mid 2016, Although l don't think we would sell it with the reg He has it serviced twice a year regardless & always has... Its has the books with it still & lm told the original purchase papers are still around somewhere, In the last few years it has only been driven up & down his drive way..& has always been garaged 4 speed manual It has factory air con, He tells us that the spare wheel has never been used.. The paint is faded & the front bumper has a few dings, but overall its in ex con, It has 2 small rust bubbles about the size of a fifty cent piece at the bottom of each front guard & thats all l can see, Is it worth anything to sell...? & what would be a fair starting price...? Any money collected from the car will be going towards his funeral costs when the time comes, (sorry that sounds brutal, But its the reality of it all) Thx for your time,
