"Not familiar with a TE27 Corolla, But the same year model over here is a ke25 ( not sure if they are the same car)"

 

So yeah, Parrot, I'd really appreciate your help with this one!

I'm looking at purchasing some 1" lowering springs for my Te27. Kingsprings in Aus do a set for the Ke25 - can anyone confirm that they'll be the same front spring size as a USDM te27?

I need to replace the clutch master and slave cylinder in my 74 Te27 and Rockauto is showing a bunch of options but i'm not sure which one I should buy.

[How Many Leafs Should I Have?]

Hey guys,

 

I recently bought a Te27 and the car looks to be lowered about 2 inches (the top of the wheel just sits under the flare) but the guy I bought it off bought it offer some other guy etc and there's no accurate information as to how it was lowered.

 

Who ever lowered it didn't use blocks (see pic) so I'm thinking either a leaf was removed (hence my question), the leafs were reset, leafs were inverted, or the leafs just got soft over time (is this possible?).

 

There are 3 leafs currently - is this 'factory'?

 

Also, for those running lower rear leaf suspension set ups, what rear shocks would you recommend for street use/stance for about 2" lower?

@scott: Do you have the same conversion kit as in the link (https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/te27/front-coilover-conversion-te27) or are you referring to a different product? If it's the same, did you need to use a camber plate to balance them?

I'm researching the best solution to lower the front end of my Te27 and have come across Techno Toys. They offer Te27 coil over conversion kits and I wanted to know if anyone has any reviews or opinions on them. It looks like you'd still need to buy camber plates.

Hey guys,

 

Total newbie here. I've wanted Ke20/25 for over 10 years now and I just purchased a 74' Te27 so I'm super stoked. She's in great condition however the door seals definitely need replacing and one of the hood bumpers is missing. I live in Vancouver Canada - is ebay the best place to get these? It seems like you can only get them from Thailand so the shipping costs are astronomical.
