I'm sorry to say I'm not close, I assume you're in New South Wales correct? I'm all over the world, working as a traveling programmer but sad to say I'm never down under. The box is pretty noisy to be frank, it shifts well and all it's mainly bearing noise I guess. I've done minor gearbox work before, mainly on Volvo and Triumph's (as in the car), but parts for those are easy to get hold of and so are manuals. Hi, Anyone that know of a good howto or pdf/images of the relevant parts of the transmission manual for the K40/K50? I find more or less nothing on the net. Yes looked at http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/6367-How-to-for-K40-K50-gearbox-strip and it doesn't say much to be honest of procedures and also tolerances. Thankful for any answers or leads Cheers J

:) Anybody having an original air cleaner for a 3K-B or D engine its pathetic after market on the engine at this moment

Hi Super and thanks for all the links. Will try to get hold of them, mean while I think I will just try to clean the carbs, hopefully the gaskets fit if one brakes, got 2x 4C kit pretty cheap so took a chance. Cheers J

Hi Folks One Corolla 1978 KE35 SR with 3K-D I assume since dual carb, and water "Cooled" intake. Only carb kit I could get hold of was for 4K-C question is what jets did a 3K-B/D have and will the 4K kit work at all? The kit number is Keyster K11-3511A for Corolla KE70 1979 and onward. What I mean work at all is needle valve and gasket etc so u can take a part and clean at least. Cheers J
