  1. Ok so from that point there is more teardown happening than much else at the moment. But the plans are getting set and are being planned out! So here's the future spec list so far. 1977 KE35 Corolla Hardtop Engine: 4agze converted to 4agte with standard internals Big port RWD intake manifold Custom exhaust manifold A disco potato (GT28) or possibly a GT25 Turbo running around 12 - 14 psi at first. FMIC to fit behind grill. Intercooler piping to suit setup ECU either mega squirt or possibly a Wolf v500 Driveline: W57 Gearbox Bell housing to suit 4a Custom tail shaft TA22 rear-end with AE86 T-series LSD centre Standard TA22 Axles Steering & Suspension Front: AE86 front Struts (will end up with fully adjustable set) KE35 Cusco camber tops AE86 LCA's will end up with adjustable set AE86 Steering arms AE86 Tie rod ends xE7x Steering rack xE7x Bottom section of steering column KE35 Top section of steering column KE35 Cross member Rear: Reset Leaf springs Adjustable shocks TA22 Pan hard rod installed Brakes: Front: R33 Skyline front calipers Nissans machined off calipers Discs to suit Braded brake lines Rear: R33 skyline rear calipers Nissans machined off calipers Disc conversion to suit Braded brake lines Body: Install JDM style front lip (same as TA22 type) May find small rear spoiler to install too Rust repair as needed Panel repair as needed Flairs for wheel arch front and rear. Engine bay: Well routed wiring with new connectors Separate body and engine harness for engine bay Separate Connection to interior for ECU. Paint: Hemi Orange with some form of matt black styling (taken from the hemi challenger and barracuda styles) Interior: Keep as standard looking as possible. Race style seats for front re-trimmed to match standard interior. Install 70's style RPM gauge to steering column. Extra gauges as required in a 70's styled look. ECU hidden under glove box. New carpet to suit. Repair/Replace rear parcel shelf. Newer deep dish 3 spoke steering wheel. At end a bolt in roll cage without dash modifications. Wheels: 15inch wheels by approx 7" That’s why the flairs need to be installed. Tyres: Some nice sticky road tyres, and a spare set of semi slicks for the track. Might even end up with a set of drag radials too! I think that’s about all....Anyway I'm open to suggestions/opinions/advice.
  2. This car sat at my house for atleast 18 months and didn't move. So Ive decided to give it some life again. With starting my New business Grumpy Automotive Developments I thought this could be like a shop car that I work on and build up during spare time. The bad pictures of how it looks now. Now the interesting part!
  3. Though considering this is the rolla club I might have to start some ride threads for my rolla's. Well I've actually had this car for a long time. it started as a Standard ke35 that i bought for $200, used it as a daily till the 3k decided it had enough. I then threw a 2tg in it and T50 box. once I got some more power I blew 2 diffs. so I upgrade to a TA22 rear end converted to leaf springs. It liked this better. I started racing the car at sprints. Then I wanted a bit more from it and installed the race wheel and raceseat, plus some neccesary gauges for safety. After having some fun I got it lowered, the old fashion way...chopped the front coils and fliped the 2nd leaf in the rear. lowed it a good 2 inches. stiffened up the rear end very well. Still having the bug I painted it as it is seen below. Aprat from changing the engine to another 2tg after the rings went in the first one, its been a great car. no real problems. Oh its also got a nice 2 /14 inch exhaust from extractors to rear witha single muffler. token specs: 1975 or 1974 (gotta check the build plate again) KE35 Hardtop Engine: 2tg Standard engine Twin side draught carbs. Extractors Wheels: 13 x 6 Cheviot styled. Suspension: Front coils cut Rear leaf ahs second leaf fliped over. Body: Standard, Painted with what used to look good race style. Yellow and Black. Interior: Race seat Race Wheel Rev gauge, Oil press, Water Temp and Volt meter. Battery Kill switch Push button starter. Battery relocated to the boot More to come.
