Brent it was originally from your neck of the woods epping and yep they are original plates. Tally I was told the mirrors were on it from new. I have seen similar things on cars that are imported Hilux surf i think but i have no idea really drc ke20 photo below ( note the temporary/permanent clutch cable repair) is there nothing cable ties will not do :)

I am the second owner and i managed to get a rwc in vic a bit over 12mths ago ( amazing how fast rust hits down the beach) i think part of the problem is i polished it a bit to much for the rw and left about .000000000000001mm of paint :)

Thanks everyone for your input... great forum....I will try to get some pictures sorted and post... I will look into one of those rust prevention thingy's its a great little car and i doubt very much i would pick up anything close to as good for that sort of money.... thanks for the offer red dwarf but i am in sunny melbourne. :D

Hi all, Hope this is in the right section of this forum......I have a great little ke26 wagon. I am the second owner and it has never been out of reg. It is mechanically great and straight but due to it living down the beach the past year it is starting to get a bit of rust. It seems to be mostly on the rear hatch some surface rust on roof and the front two guards have it in the bottom corners (it has original paint) . The interior is black and is in great condition except for a tear on the front passenger seat. It has two extra mirrors on the front guards and one of those sun visor thingys above the windscreen. I don't want this great little car to get to far gone rust wise so i am thinking of selling.I know without photo's it is hard but what sort of price range should i look at. cheers

Hi all, Just wondering what other wheels will fit on a ke26 wagon (1973) and what is the pcd. It currently has 12" but i would like to go to 13" if possible. Cheers

Hi All, I just picked up a 1973 wagon from a friends grand parents.... It is a little ripper only done 43k miles and never been unregistered. The interior looks like it justed rolled off the line..... am radio/ steel sunshade and all....two small rust spots in front quarters and other than that spotless. questions 1. I am having trouble findings shocks any ideas were? 2. do all wagons have the mirrors on the guards 3. are the brake linings hard to come by 4. Do other models clutch cables fit the ke20 ( i think it is one) as the current one is held with chicken wire :) ..any ideas were to sorce. 5. Anyone have a good location (northsubs melb) to get 12" tyres. ant help much appeciated...photos to come. cheer Mokemark
