  2. Hi all, taking my car through regency soon and i noticed it has a fair bit of play in the steering rack. Does anyone know how to fix this? its definately happening in the rack as the steering column is all tight. Cheers
  3. Hi all, I'm looking to install a killswitch(s) into my kesev but its currently defected and has to go through regency soon. Are killswitches legal on cars or are they another defect. For the record by killswitch I mean a hidden switch that cuts the fuel pump, earths etc. Cheers.
  4. Its just everyone is telling me any performance upgrade is another defect so would regency see the stiffer bushes on a ke70 corolla as a P plater making his car driftable? Cheers
  5. Hi all. Taking my kesev through regency soon but i need to change the suspension bushes first. Just want to know if i can pass with Urethane or Nolathane bushes or do i have to maintain the original rubber ones from toyota? Thanks.
  6. thanks for the replies. i still can't decide wether to keep the car and spend heaps of cash getting it through regency, or just getting rid of the thing. Cost me $600 in the first place and I'm thinking it needs a fair bit of work and being a first year apprentice, my wallets looking pretty bare. Keep or not? Thanks.
  7. Hi everyone just got my new ke70 a week ago and already been defected. Not in the best condition but i have intentions of doing it up eventually. I got defected for body rust (typical kesev places), oil leak in the engine which seems to be coming from the fuel pump, and bald tyres. Not having any trouble with fixing it but is there any other precautions i should take before trying to take it through regency? The car has been converted to manual and as far as i know it hasn't been sighted by anyone (not sure if it needs to be engineered) so will this be a problem? Thanks.
