Hello Rollaclub member, My engine bay restoration project almost finished.. just waiting some parts are still not arrive like SAMCO SILICONE HOSE, WIRING CABLE etc... here some of progress picture... Engine has been taken out from bay.... so messy.. Process to strip engine bay begins... To prevent rust coming back into my engine bay, I'm using OSPHO RUST REMOVER to strip all rust.... and leave it for couple days.. Now, 2nd satge to strip out rust to bare metal before send to painting shop.

Hello guys, long time not update my thread. Nothing special for now. just planning to clean up my messy engine bay. My engine bay so messy with 5k engine and I'm getting bored n hate with it. so, I'm planning to workout on it after satisfied with the exterior. The Messy Engine Bay ....... i hate that... So, clean up time ... Yeah, done for today.. prepare for engine bay painting.

Hello guys.. sorry due to busy work lately... So, nothing special and much to do... just send my RS Watanabe 14 inch for refurbish. Its takes 4 days to completed. For the colour scheme, I'm still used silvergold as an original colour and polished lips.. Before After refurbish and miror polished For engine section, I'm still waiting green light from my friend to do major jobs on my 5k engine...

Undertaker, I have two set of watanabe's... Currently I'm using 15 inch watanabe. But for this one, it is 14 inch watanabe's with spec front 14 inch x 8jj and rear 14 inch x 9jj...

Thanks seabiscuit, in malaysia we have limit to do more extreme on our KE's. The enforcement law very straight here.. For watanabe's, I'm planning to respray it with light grey for my 14inch watanabe's.. Here a pic my 14inch rs watanabe... I'm planning to spray with light grey...

thanks undertaker and 36panvan.... This RS Watanabe's was a my dream wheel. This wheel also make KE's owner crazy. So, I'm still keeping my SSR Mark3 wheel in my garage. Maybe, it will become a wheels legend someday.. hehehee...

Hahahahhaa... i thought that's was ur real name... Hehehhee.. Yeah, now i have SSR MARK3 14inch for my ride. I got this SSR Mark3 wheels from chop shop in very bad condition. Now, i sent this wheel to Falken Wheels Shop to do a mirror polish and restoration for this SSR. The result? Amazing... My KE's with SSR Mark3. Spec - Front (14 inch x 7.5jj) and rear (14 inch x 8jj)

nOW, restoration for the interior has begun... Before - So bad n messy.... After rewarp with high PVC n fabrics.. I'm used two tone colour to maintain originality colour scheme... hehehe In Malaysia, all this rewarp cost only MYR1,200. complete ceiling, door trim, pillar n floor...

Daxman, is that quad headlight u get from me??? hehehe.. u have nice ride there, hope i can find 2 doors KE70 in malaysia. But its to difficult...

Thanks for all the comment guys. New chrome bumper taken from KE70 DX model will replace my old black rubber bumpers. Yeahhh... Let's do it... The process almost finish. Just need to find a suitable wheel for my ride. Yeah, I'm found WORK 17inch for my car. Look wierd huh?? to high with 17 inch wheels. Now, I'm planning to go to replace my standard abs with E30 SACHS short stroke into my chasis.. :jamie: Sorry no pic for the absorber modification. For now, just received new parts from my friend. New GL tail lamp for my KE70. This tail lamp complete with socket, bulb and cable.. Just plug and play into my car. Nice item. bought only MYR150. New tail lamp has been place into my KE's... New headlamp n grille also done for today.

Hello there, I'm Yangzeen from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Here i want to share one of my KE70 Corolla Restoration Project. Before that, i just bought this KE70 from my uncle friend in Pahang, Malaysia with MYR2,000 and got some rusty. First of all, i sent this car to my friend paint and bodywork shop to start my project. During this project, some parts was arrived from Johore, Malaysia such as complete DX Chrome bumpers, new headlamp, tail lamp and some of exterior parts. The project begins. All exterior parts has been taken out such as windscreen, headlamp, grille, tail lamp n bumpers. New undercoat n paints have done now..
