  1. hey guys,

a few of RC people might know my TA22 build "voodoo ta22" as majority know aftermarket suspension parts etc for old school toyotas are a bit of a pain to find.

i have stumbled across www.technotoytuning.com and they have a massive range for TA22 but my only question is has anybody used this company before or know of anyone who has etc before i go spending cash on stuff in the US.

any advice/opinions good or bad highly appreciated.

they also sell KE70, KE30, KE70 and various other early model Toyota, Datsun parts.

  2. Little bit of progress ive thrown on some primer on the engine bay as it was starting to get a bit of surface rust and it gave me an idea of how the engine bay is looking smoothed and I'm pretty chuffed with the outcome, i can't post a pic of it now as I'm not on a computer but soon hopefully i can.

  3. Yeah ive always loved them since my dad used to have one,

was plannin on a 4L but no way on gettin it complied so gonna go 4cyl turbo of some description.

progress wise havnt played with it too much just small stuff when i have spare time been pretty busy lately but keen to get right back into it again full swing,

parcel shelf is almost completed swapping about 99% through it engine bay is about 80% so I'm gettin there.

  4. small update

got the wild 4spd in haha

all set up running feels good to be driving a manual

goes sooo much harder than automatic its hard to believe how much the auto saps power.

now to neatin it up rust patches etc needs new tail lights as the surrounds are farrked.

  5. ohh its had a rough life has its fair share of rust probably more than most would consider salvagable but, i like a challenge and in the end it will all be worth it.

cheers for the ideas, ill have a play and what ever result works best or worst ill let you guys know.

keep the ideas flowin too people the more the merrier.

  6. Hey guys I'm in the process of stripping my celica back to bare metal and was wondering if there was a product to remove that underbody tar/rubber thats found in inner arches and underneath, wire wheel just clogs up and linisher just melts the tar and screws the disk.

any ideas? that can take the pain and time of it away.

  7. manual swap is comin along steady, weathers holding me back as its outside have to dodge the rain don't feel like crawlin round in the mud.

trans is all unbolted and dropped. so now just need to take the flywheel/converter off and then bolt clutch on, gearbox, cable etc swap loom.

tail shaft has been modified, because the manual came from a wagon the tail shaft was longer? so i used the manual front half and the auto rear half of the tail shaft.

  8. got my T50 Shifter and plates today yew. just a white plastic with reflective numbers stoked with how they look.
