raceflorolla Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 (edited) Hey guys, my name is sam, just wondered if anyone could help me out. I own a ke70 running a stock 4k, and recently had issues with water leaking into the combustion chambers due to corroded water jackets. So i ripped off the 4k head and bolted on a 3k-h head (i think - number 33)with a new head gasket, and extractors at the same time. Now when i try and start it, it sounds like theres no compression building up and the motors just freewheeling...i can't figure out where it would be loosing compression, and i know the timing and timing chain is fine...any ideas? Sam i sold a 3k head to a guy and he did exactly what you did. the head face is lower so when you bolt it up and put the rocker gear on, the valves are held open causing no :y: compression.
