G'day everyone,

 

how ya going, I'm 20 and still working on getting my licence... gotta get a few hours before i can get my P's but I recently got a '84 KE70 (AE71 in technical terms, so they say) Corolla S auto for my first car for 900 bucks. Pretty much nothing wrong with it, its got a 4K-C hi cam seems to be the original motor, has done about 198K, every panel is straight apart from a few dents in the bonnet and roof, still got the OEM radio in it lol, a few bits of rust that isnt that bad...although there is a bit that needs attention.

 

What i aim to do with it is, cut the rust out... and paint it black, get the door handles and toyota badges re chromed, lower it, maybe putting a body kit on it with wider guards but i don't think theres any point to it and upgrading the breaks and suspension. I plan to keep the 4K-C untill i get off my P's and maybe drop a 20v 4age in and make a drag car out of it...just something i can take down the drag strip and have a bit of fun with.
